Responsibilities
Upon joining Securance, you’ll immediately assume responsibilities, facilitating rapid learning. Engage in various courses tailored to your specialization, enabling a swift understanding of diverse organizations and proficient risk assessments. Through our 3-year Securance Academy program, you’ll undergo comprehensive training to become an expert in risk management. In the initial year, you’ll develop knowledge in risk management, standards, project management, and communication skills, applying them directly to client projects. Progressing from a team member to leading your own projects, you’ll continue refining your expertise in the second and third years, guided by your interests and ambitions. Embrace the motto “Become the architect of your own future,” determining your areas of specialization with the support of a personal coach to ensure your success.
Your team
In this role, you will collaborate with experienced consultants with a proven track record. You will primarily work on projects for clients within the financial sector. Our client base includes leading asset managers, disruptive crypto companies, crowdfunding platforms, internet registries, exchanges, and more. During these projects, high expectations will be placed on you, resulting in a steep learning curve, but we ensure you that you will have the tools to succeed.

Your qualities
For the position of Traineeship Risk Consultant we are looking for top performers; we expect you to maximize your potential to succeed. Key attributes that define a successful consultant are ambition, intelligence, drive, a hands-on mentality, resilience, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and persuasiveness.
Additionally, you have:
• An HBO Bachelor or University degree with a focus on accountancy, business economics, security, safety science, or IT are advantageous.
• Preferably one year of work experience
• Demonstrating analytical strength
• Effective interpersonal skills, proactivity, and initiative-taking abilities
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
You are a quick learner and genuine team player, you are unafraid to ask questions and can proficiently write professional reports.

You will work for our Securance Assurance service line. There we specialize in optimizing internal controls through Risk, Compliance IT, Optimization, and Assurance consultancy.
