Responsibilities

• Anticipate and interpret developments in laws, regulations, and supervision.
• Support implementation projects for (new) laws and regulations.
• Set up/improve compliance programs.
• Design and implement new processes.
• Advise on enhancing governance frameworks.
• Conduct compliance scans (including gap analyses).
• Develop and improve policies and conduct policy evaluations.
• Analyze, describe, and visualize processes.
• Establish and implement risk management.
• Develop and write assurance reports.
• Provide support and guidance for both internal and external audits.

Your team

In this role, you will collaborate with experienced consultants with a proven track record. You will primarily work on projects for clients within the financial sector. Our client base includes leading asset managers, disruptive crypto companies, crowdfunding platforms, internet registries, exchanges, and more. During these projects, high expectations will be placed on you, resulting in a steep learning curve, but we ensure you that you will have the tools to succeed.

Your qualities

For the position of Compliance & Risk Consultant we are looking for top performers; we expect you to maximize your potential to succeed. Key attributes that define a successful consultant are ambition, intelligence, drive, a hands-on mentality, resilience, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and persuasiveness.

 

Additionally, you have:
• A university degree with a focus on Law, Compliance, Public Administration, Criminology, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations.
• Research and interpretation skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Affinity with the financial sector (preferred).

 

It is an advantage if you can demonstrate relevant experience through studies, part-time jobs, internships, etc.
